If you were unable to visit with a counselor before the summer break, you can still take online classes. Please note that Granite-Online requires counselors to be part of the sign-up process so you will not be able to take classes through them. Students can sign up by themselves at BYU Independent Study and the University of Utah. Not all classes give students credit for high school or replace certain courses. Every year students take classes that will not count for anything. If you don't talk to your counselor about online classes, you run the risk that the online class will not count.
