Summer Activities
There are many activities and programs available for students in the summer. As we hear about them, we will list them here.
U of U Nursing Summer Camp: June 28th-30th
This camp is for all middle schoolers interested in healthcare. You'll be able to tour the University of Utah campus, learn how to use hospital equipment, and practice on pretend patients in the Nursing Simulation Center. The cost is $20 and lunch is provided. STEM Summer Camps

Hogle Zoo Keeper Camp
If you have ever dreamed of working with and taking care of wild animals, here is your chance! Go behind the scenes at Hogle Zoo as you help prepare animal's diets, clean exhibits, and create animal enrichment activities. Check out their website for more details: Keeper Program |
Weber State Summer Camps
Weber has lots of fun summer camps involving science, engineering, math, art, theatre, and computer technology. Each camp has a specific age rage to better serve the participants. University of Utah Classes
Did you know the U of U offers tons of classes during the summer? These classes are in every subject you can think of! From cooking, to beginning fencing, to ACT prep. You won't believe all the options they have available. They also have a Youth Academy of Excellence specifically designed for students in the GT (Gifted and Talented) program. University of Utah Engineering Summer Camps
Interested in studying engineering? The U of U will help you get a glimpse of the skills and careers in the engineering field. Westminster College Summer Camps

BYU Theatre Workshop

UVU Summer Classes
UVU offers a large amount of classes to participate in this summer. Classes in arts and crafts, aviation, computers, theatre, robotics, and science and engineering. Teen Activities at the SLC Public Library
There are always lots of activities and events to be apart of at your local library. Get a list of events and join the summer reading program at your local library. The Salt Lake City Public Library holds events and contests specifically for teens on a daily basis. There are some awesome opportunities. BYU Sports Camp

Coding Classes Online
Code.org is the best place to start learning the basics of coding. No need to go anywhere. Just sit back with your computer and play away.
