8th Grade CCR Plan Meetings
These 20-30 minute meetings are for parents, students, and counselors to sit down together to review their College and Career Readiness plan (CCR Plan). Parents are strongly encouraged to attend these meetings where class selection, goals, review of school progress, and a 4-year high school plan are discussed. We want each Wasatch student to be College and Career ready!
Ideally this meeting is with your 8th grade student and at least one parent. However, if a parent is not able to meet with us, we will meet individually with your student.
We offer hybrid appointments (student in person and parent virtual) as well as our traditional in-person appointments.
We ask that students and parents/guardians go through the CCR Plan Presentation below. This will provide you with important information for high school and will prepare you for the CCR Plan meeting with your counselor. These meetings are required for every 8th grader.
